The $50 million SG Eco Fund was set up in 2020 to support projects that advance environmental sustainability and involve the community. We are delighted to announce that Holocene, after a rigorous evaluation process, has emerged to be one of the 68 grant recipients of the SG Eco Fund for 2023!

Supported by SG Eco Fund, Holocene will be embarking on a 12 month journey with Kim Tian West to engage and educate its residents on growing edible greens with compost produced from food waste upcycling.

Interactive engagement sessions will be rolled out progressively to involve the residents in activities ranging from workshops to food waste collection drives to hands on community gardening.

It all sounds extremely exciting, and we can’t wait to get started! Stay tuned for more updates on our journey as we go along.
