Workshop at The Giving Garden, Kim Tian West

Looking back on our workshop held on 21 September 2023 at The Giving Garden in Kim Tian West, most of the participants were friends and families who came together to not only learn more about food waste upcycling and community gardening, but to also embark on a hands on experience.
Putting what they have learnt to good use, some residents were keen to take the next step to participate in the bi-weekly collections of food waste and witness first hand how waste was upcycled into compost using our Holocene digestors installed on-site.
Educating families on circular economy practices and translating their enthusiasm into community action is always fulfilling. It was especially heartwarming to see the Kim Tian residents forge stronger bonds and cultivate sustainable practices that they will hold on to in the long run.
