Workshops at Our Space – Happy Container

Bringing workshops back to Our Space@Kim Tian, we conducted two workshop runs under our First Penguin Volunteerism project on 8 and 22 October 2023. We were encouraged by the warm reception and positive turnout from Kim Tian residents.
Residents gained insights on how to upcycle food waste into compost and grow edible crops. Residents also appreciated how to grow edible greens with a combination of soil and compost. Through such hands on experience, we were able to reinforce the circular economy concepts taught, demonstrating to the residents that these habits can indeed be integrated into their everyday lives.
